Halloween Inspired Ideas

It’s crazy to think “Spooky Season” is coming to an end! Halloween is right around the corner so time is crunched to be festive. I have a couple festive Halloween inspired ideas below that you and your friends can do to prepare for a fun halloween weekend. I also attached a couple different costumes from a cute store I found for some inspiration!

1. Halloween Charcuterie Board:

I thought this would be a great way to add a little Halloween spirit on a typical cheese board. It was so easy to make and would be super fun to do on Halloween if your plans are limited because of Covid. This is such a fun way to be creative and get in the spirit!

I went to the store and bought all of my favorite Halloween inspired candy and snacks. Candy corn and gummy worms are an essential when your making a spooky charcuterie board. I got the variety pack of candy corn so I could have some different options.

In the spirit of a traditional charcuterie board I wanted apples and cheese! I bought caramel to go with the apples because..… FALL! I then cut the pepper jack cheese into what I thought looked like a tomb? It was a little harder to shape than I thought honestly. I had pumpkin cookie cutters so I cut the cheddar cheese into mini pumpkins!

Vanilla wafers are one of my favorite snacks so I thought it would be fun to add a spin to them! I attempted to make ghost wafers with black icing! It was fun to be artistic and attempt to make then look like mini ghosts.

One of my favorite parts of the Halloween cheese board was positioning the mini pumpkin to make it look like it was throwing up guacamole. I couldn’t carve such a small pumpkin so the placement had to be there to understand the idea. I added my favorite fall leave chips from Trader Joe’s that I mentioned in a previous blog post!

Also the grocery stores have so many fun Halloween inspired snacks including these bone shaped Cheetos! Honestly props for the creativity Cheetos.

And obviously you cant forget the pumpkin sugar cookies….

2. Witches Brew:

A fall scented candle is always my go to and I was devastated when I realized I burned it all up. This was a chance to try something different. I found a “simmering pot recipe” On Pinterest that made my house smell EVERYTHING Fall!

The Ingredients are:

  • The peel from one orange
  • 2-4 real cinnamon sticks
  •  1 tsp vanilla

Add enough water to cover the ingredients than place on low heat! This seriously was such a nice touch and made the house smell amazing!!

*Keep and eye on the pot because it can catch on fire once the water evaporates! That’s definitely not the Halloween spirit we’re looking for.

3. Halloween Costume Inspo:

Getting in the Halloween Spirit I attached some of my favorite costumes from 3 Wishes!!!

of course like your web site however you have
to check the spelling on several of your posts.
Many of them are rife with
spelling problems and I to find
it very troublesome to inform the truth then again I’ll definitely come back again.
